MonumentsIn the front square outside the church there is a sandstone column of St. Florian. The column was founded by the Jesuits in thanks for his deliverance from the fire after a lightning strike. At its base a Latin inscription was placed with a hidden date: “DIVVs FLorIanVs aDVersVs INCENDIE patronVs (1684.)” which means St. Florian patron, protector against fire.
